Re: Solus3D Home cycle not running
If you’re new to the machine or not willing to open your printer up, check with your supplier first. If your printer doesn’t have the tilt motor and plate upgrade kit, now would be a good time to do it. Also, I’m not an expert so don’t assume this is the best process, but it worked for me. You’ll ne...

Re: Solus3D Home cycle not running
Just had a similar event last week.
In my case it turned out the tilt plate wasn't engaging its stop / home switch as a small screw used to engage the switch had worked its way loose.
I could hear the tilt motor trying to move after the build arm had reached zero. Is yours doing the same?

Re: Print fail?
Are you checking your Rhino support structures in Netfabb? When I was making most of my supports in Matrix it always surprised me how many had issues, even when they checked out as being valid and closed within Matrix. Lost quite a few prints that way before I started using Netfabb. Also, as Mongerd...

new parts in my Solus
I wasn’t expecting any improvement when I replaced a faulty tilt motor, but my first print with the new tilt plate, quartz, and the tilt motor upgrade kit has given me the smoothest surface on the "test ring" I’ve ever had. 42xy, 30z.

Re: Motor grinding during homing, and no reset
I have what sounds like a similar issue, and its happens once or twice every few months. I’m not sure what the cause is, and it may not be related to the cause of your issues, but here’s a routine suggested to me by Reify: Remove power to the printer and remove the USB cables from the printer and la...

Re: Vat leaking
Hi Kevin, I’ve had that happen, and someone here suggested curing some resin to fix the leak. It worked and I’m still using the vat a year later. Remove all the resin from within the vat and then remove the film. Remove almost all of the resin from around the outside edge of the vat walls but leave ...

Re: Auto projector shut down
I had that when I switched over to contour, but reistalling the driver for rs232 fixed it. Search the forum, I think its in here somewhere
