I was inspired yo make a new home for the printers this past weekend. Since the second one will be here soon I wanted them in the same protected from the dust while not in use environment. Re: Cleaning
I use denatured for general cleaning of tweezers build plate anything metal. For prints isopropyl just for a few seconds in a jar in a cold ultrasonic. Then rinse with warm water and blow off with air.

I wont make mine any larger than the shadow of the item being printed. If you are looking at the model from the top view the base will normally be a oval just big enough to cover the edges of the model on the X and Y axis. I also don't like any bases with sharp corners. I would print ithis horizontal would be easy to support that way. And it would print very fast.
