Re: tilt switch problems?
What is the purpose of the plastic hat thing? It looks like it's supposed to keep the tilt plate centered on the screw, but for that to work it would have to rotate freely on the threads but right now it acts like it was glued(maybe resin got inside). I can easily replace it, just let me know if I'm...

red is screw, green is part of tilt plate, blue is broken plastic piece. just got my replacement quartz and was going over the internals to find what screw had to be turned to make the homing more consistent when I found this broken plastic thing. Not sure what it is or what it's for. In the picture...

https://i0.wp.com/blog.russhowepti.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/Arnold-Thumbs-Up.jpg Success! Just cleaned the proto from the motor, lined the gear back up so that it spins freely and put everything back together. Looks like nothing ever happened. Print went by perfectly. Thanks

Re: z-screw tight
Definitely resin in the motor. A layer of red gunk on top of a bunch of green gunk. Don't know what the green stuff is since I've never used green resin. Gonna leave that there.

Re: z-screw tight
Possible. Yesterday I had to clean resin up that was splashed outside of the tank all over the inside of enclosure(accompanied that soft limit error that punctured the film.). I wiped off what I saw but didn't see anything inside. I guess I'll open it up and take a look.

z-screw tight
Basically, i've been having problems with contour stopping during my prints. (during 1, it actually rammed the print into the bed mid-print, only punctured the film though-no broken glass this time). Thought it was software or something with the file but now think it's related to what just happened...

Re: printing failed. unexpected response: soft limit, issue reset
I was able to get a print finished, somehow( nice result). I tried another and it happened again. Went to home it after restarting everything and the motors sound like it's struggling to get the thing down and back up. Actually, it can barely move the thing at all.I turn everything off and now there...

Re: printing failed. unexpected response: soft limit, issue reset
happens on different layers so i guess it's not the file. nearly 80 % finished on this fail.
