Re: Too many fails
Do you have very good ventilation where your projector/printer is? I also had that problem. Forgot to turn on my little fan to move out the hot air from projector. My order of double stick tape got lost. I have been using it with good results until I get my tape. Thank you for the response and yeah...

Re: Too many fails
I recently began setting up for 42xy but while i was calibrating the build area I noticed the grid was not completely on the quartz. As I looked to see why i noticed the quartz was shifted to the left. I was wondering if this would affect my printing quality or cause print failures? Also would like ...

Re: Too many fails
Yeah my prints are starting come out, using the normal settings and the film installation method. We tested it several times with different models and they all came out pretty nice. Now we are trying to print without the thumb screws and we thought of installing two L-brackets on the opposite corner...

Re: Too many fails
Wow, nice print. You did it without the thumb screws? interesting, did the vat not move during the print? What method did you use to install the new film in the vat? Currently we have a vat that prints well and we didn't stretch the film but i am still not clear on how to install the film. Thank yo...

Re: Too many fails
Yep I can confirm. I've also been trying to print several items using the entire build plate & experienced the same failures & consistent inconsistency. Vat tension is definitely a major factor. I no longer tighten the thumb screws, I found that even the slightest screw tension caused failu...

Re: 42xy failed print!
Hi Henry, have your tried looking at the projector lens or the front quartz (the little window that the projector projects through)? There might be something like a small smudge or maybe resin that fell on the lens. I had this problem as well where my prints didn't print correctly in one section and...

Re: Scaling
Yeah, i had the same problem where the grid wasn't parallel to the quartz first time we got solus. From what I experienced, I tried to slightly lift on either side of the projector or move slightly with the grid on and try to make it parallel and once you do adjust the legs based on that. Sometimes ...

Re: Too many fails
Thank you for the response, currently for my vat the right and left corners have more space between the printer than the middle. The middle has a less of a gap between the vat and the printer than the right and left corners do. Should i put something to support the whole vat like a credit card which...
