Broken Projector Bulb
So last night I didn't hit the turn projector off after print button. Came in to find this mess. It was a pretty hot day also (mid 90's F during the day). Print was a little longer than a normal print (4 hr 41 min) Kinda shocking. I know I've seen similar posts on here in the past of people glass br...

Re: SolusCast Profile - Blue Projector Light?
Just the SolusCast Profile has the blue light as far as I can tell.

Re: SolusCast Profile - Blue Projector Light?
I think my couple failures were probably more from my film being too tight than anything else, since I just put on a fresh film.
I was just surprised to see the blue projector light, and was wondering if that was normal.
Good to know it is.

SolusCast Profile - Blue Projector Light?
So I noticed when I use the SolusCast profile in contour the projector projects blue light instead of white light. At first I thought it might be the reflection of the blue resin. But it's definitely blue light. Wondering if it's supposed to be blue? I've had some minor failures happen with that pro...

Re: Consistent speed bump when replacing film
I used to have an air bubble problem. No matter how tight/loose I put the vat on I'd still have air bubbles. Which would make the film kinda stick to the crystal. Turned out that my film/crystal was just a little dirty. Fingerprint grease or resin. Now every time I put on my vat I make sure that it ...

Re: Auto Supports and Manual Supports now in Contour!
I re-read the post and I'm not seeing anything I missed. I updated from version 1.0 to 1.2 So is 1.2 an older version? And I'm just not seeing the newest version with the supports? Edit: Ok, so 1.2 is an older version, and I had to restart and update a second time. That's all I wanted to know. So 1....

Re: Auto Supports and Manual Supports now in Contour!
So the new version we're getting is 1.2? Noticed in your screen shot you're running 1.2.16 or 1.2.18
In 1.2 I'm not seeing that "Support" button on the side when I load up a model. Is there something I'm missing?

Re: Resin Storage
Came across some pretty nice resin containers. There's a weed dispensary on the same floor of the building I'm in, and a sales rep was selling UV proof containers for weed storage. After looking at them, they seemed perfect for resin storage. Made of glass, air tight, UV proof and wide lid so I can ...

That's exactly what I've been doing. Funny, I just made a new thread asking about a related question here: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=481

Resin Storage
Does anyone know if resins reacts to certain plastics?
I've been storing small portions of used resin in Polypropylene bottles that I've been re-using.
The resin itself comes in an High-density polyethylene (HDPE) bottle.
Wondering if it might be affecting my resin.
