Re: Warped Prints
Yes. New film. This issue had been happening before I changed it as well. Prints fine up to a certain point, then shifts somehow. New build last night. Grew this same split shank upside-down (far left) and the shift still occurs, but definitely not to the same degree. Getting the same effect on the ...

Re: Warped Prints
Thanks for the quick response. Should have mentioned this is Emerald resin, if you can't tell. Using .3 spheres to support. It seems like the model is shifting before the supported area would have a chance to pull it. And the warping goes the opposite way of the supports coming down. I've attached s...

Warped Prints
I've noticed some other posts with similar problems, but hadn't seen a solution. If this has been solved, just point me in the right direction. I'm getting some warping at the top portion of my models. It happens on everything I print and seems to be getting worse. I've cleaned/lubed the lead screw,...

Re: Solus Wax Issues
Meshmaker - i am impressed! I have never even heard about this casting method, do you think it improves the results? Unfortunately i have a vertical centrifugal, and i dont see a way to install it. Every day i learn something. Unfortunatly i still have not tried the wax resin and can not be of any ...

Re: Solus Wax Issues
The button doesn't have anything to do with the casting machine necassarily. It's just the shape of the rubber base we use when investing. I honestly would like to get some different ones as these have more surface area than I would like. My grandpa developed this vacuum system back in the '70's. It...

Solus Wax Issues
My trials have been hit and miss so far. The white gold ring was my first attempt using this resin. It was cured for 30 min and burned out with a slow ramp. This casting was salvageable but it did have a section on the shank that did not come out. Not sure if this is investment breakdown (optima) or...

Printer not recognized by computer
Not sure what’s happening but the port for the printer keeps going on and off. I’ve gotten this error message since the very first print I ever did: “Printing Failed. The port ‘COM3’ does not exist.” This happens when I click print wizard to enter the print setup. My work around has been to disconne...

Re: Strange surface after curing
Not sure why I wanted to try it under water. I guess I was hoping for a quicker curing time. And I'm still trying to figure out what works for me. That was my next question. If the castings will be affected. I'll give it a shot and see what happens. So alcohol rinse and then just air dry before curi...
