Water deeps oxygen from inhibiting the cure
I didn't know that water keeps oxygen from contacting the model and inhibiting the curing mechanism, light turned on !
Thanks whoever wrote that (I forget your name) Brilliant, now I will add water to my curing process!

calibrating problems
My projector is an Optoma HD37. I am calibrating the printer and the grid is showing not square. At the bottom it is 48mm wide and at the top it is 47 mm wide. I can't find the control to fix it, apparently it is not a tilt problem because it isn't fixed by tilting the unit, but then again I'm just ...

Re: Prints with no lines apparent
thanks both of you for answering me.
I am new to this, never having adjusted any of the things you mentioned. Are there videos that explain how to do adjustments?

Re: scale adjustment not working as expected
thank you for a quick answer. How much on the average can you expect the emerald to shrink during the cure, is that part of the 3%? Can you measure the degree of the cure according to ring size? In other words I will have measured the ring size before and after curing, and compared the two. It's not...

scale adjustment not working as expected
Scale adjustment is giving me some unexpected results, so first I'll check and make sure the x y and z are correct x is the long axis, from left to right y is the short axis, from front to back z is the vertical axis, from bottom to top to my understanding, the way you use scale adjustment is you pu...

Re: I having slight success in casting, but not perfect
I called R&R about their plasticast investment and they told me that it is good up to 1700 degrees F, wouldn't try it before I found out. I cast and get no flashing. I use a spin caster, maybe I should switch to vacuum casting? Do you notice any difference? The place I used to work swore by vacu...
