Re: Contour Feature Requests
Not sure if this is possible, but I would like to see a bottom optional Layer Thickness of 100 microns for the first 4mm or so. Until your project starts! I'm printing couple rings right now and it took 35mins of printing before It even started printing the bottom of the shank. Would be really cool...

Re: Saving, Reusing, Recycling Alcohol (IPA)
Lab grade is overkill and expensive! Both 70% and 91% seem to work find for my cleaning needs. I do use an ultrasonic with the alcohol which helps improve the cleaning action of the isopropyl alcohol. Not all resins will settle since may use dyes or other chemicals that stay suspended in the liquid...

Re: Saving, Reusing, Recycling Alcohol (IPA)
Instead of setting out your dirty one to evaporate have you tried closing it up and letting all of that resin settle out? That's what I was getting at. I've had some really dirty alcohol that after it sat for the weekend could be used as the "fresh" alcohol. I'm also using 99.5% lab grade ...

Re: Saving, Reusing, Recycling Alcohol (IPA)
I used the coffee filter method before as well but noticed I still had color in the alcohol. Letting it sit for a couple of days and settle and then sucking it off the top seems to get it a lot cleaner for me.

Saving, Reusing, Recycling Alcohol (IPA)
Just a quick tip for reusing alcohol rinse. I noticed with the resins I print with (including the solus proto resin) that after leaving the alcohol bath sit for a few days the majority of the resin settles to the bottom. If you take a large turkey baster (or large syringe would work) you can take ou...

Re: Dissolve Resin
I plan on getting some and trying it with the aluminum tank eventually. Although, when I asked if they had any photos of successful prints with it (from any machine) they didn't respond .

Re: Dissolve Resin
A late reply, but in case anyone else is looking for info on this someday... We've recently tried multiple strong solvents in the lab (stuff not available to everyone) and only with limited success. In general, fully cured acrylate monomers like these resins are extremely difficult to dissolve. The ...

Re: grid fit(solved) Print settings off?
I also have the infocus projector and the 80x45 doesn't quite fit towards the top left. I noticed wiggling/tilting the projector as someone else suggested will get it to fit, I just haven't cared enough to get it all on there. I wouldn't worry about the popping, I get a crazy loud pop quite often wi...

Re: Contour Feature Requests
Thanks for the info. I did find out that the workaround for #2 is to use merge scenes. Both this and the one you suggested will work for now though they are time consuming and hopefully will be features in the future. #3 is still most important for me... I realize this is a fairly major update and w...

Re: Contour Feature Requests
Which wall thickness are you talking about? Sorry I should have clarified, basically I mean minimum feature thickness (not exterior walls of a hollowed part). For example raised letters on a surface vs engraved letters into a surface. When you get to the 0.1mm and thinner walls (or channels) of the...
