In complete growings
I printed 4 rings 2 came out perfect but other 2 incomplete rings so tried again with worse results so I note rd the film was looking a little looser and not as clear as a new one so changed the film and tried the 2 that didn't work and same results.

I downloaded the upgrade 1.6.00 but I must not of restarted the program. it now works. I actually grew a piece last night so was confused why all a sudden im getting this message.

I used the b9 emerald and optima and have had ok results but im now getting great results and I belive the cure on the resin and letting investment sit for 5-6 hours before burnout is the key. I have used optima investment but ran out so im using plasticast now with same results so both investments ...

printing Failed
I got a message when setting up a print ( Printing Failed the parameter is incorrect ) any one have this issue before? I tried reloading the piece several times and also restarted the program 2 times and still same message.

try turning the rings 90 deg I find rings print better that way.

I PRINTED A PLAIN HALF ROUND BAND OF 5.2MM WIDE BY 2.3MM THICK AND IT WOULD COME OUT OVAL AND A 1/4 OF IT 2.1 MM THICK AND REST 2.3/4 MM SET VERTICALLY SO I TRIED IT HORVONTAL WITH SAME RESULTS MAYBE SLIGHTLY LESS OVAL BOT THICKNESS ISSUE THE SAME. I didn't have any flashing but what looks like flashing is the contact points from growing which I find easier to clean in metal. I figured that the white gold casting was a design/spruing issue but got that one almost done. Thanks for all the advice and support.

Sterling silver casting it came out just like this from the flask a minute or two in ultrasonic to get investment out of pieces.
