MIY UV+Heat Vacuum Oven
I am starting this tread as continuation of the discussion about vacuum curing in the "Casting SoulsCast" thread. I looked for some low-cost options to the pro ovens. I also wanted to see if it is possible to combine both heat+vacuum and UV to shorten the process. What do you think about t...

Would you please share your whole curing process from printer to flask? Do you combine this with UV curing?

Re: Casting SolusCast
For my curing i use a small electric oven set at 100 Celsius for 2 hours. After that i UV cure for as long as i can both in water and out. That is for the Emerald. I find that curing in the oven (annealing) in combination with UV helps a lot in achieving a good casting. Also i remember a post in th...

All you need is alcohol, water, and fingernai...

Re: Casting SolusCast
Printcast, thanks again for your detailed and honest review! I wish someone from Jewelryservices joins the discussion to share their method in similar fashion, with pictures of the process. I am surprised how much adding boric acid helped. Now the eyes of the skull are well defined. We can still see...
