This is a memorial charm for a client who had a granddaughter pass away. Text on the outside goes 320 degrees around it, with hand prints on one side and footprints on the other. 2mm thick 25mm in diameter. The lettering on the outside averages 1mm tall with average width of the cut ins being .25mm.

Indeed. "poor photo quality" for a beautiful work. What did you use to clean you Investment. After letting the flask cool for about 30 minutes i use a rawhide mallet to break the investment. Then i give it a quick sandblast to clean it. I am not a big fan of the chemicals, they work great...

This is today's platinum casting next to a grown model. Sorry for the poor photo quality, it was a quick shot with the cell phone.

We use Invest RP http://www.stuller.com/products/21-7060/?groupId=118383 Its a phosphate bonded investment that does very well with high temperatures. It sets very fast, so use it cold. B9 black might be a good place to start. I know it can be used in vulcanized rubber molds, so it can withstand a bit of heat and pressure. It does produced good crisp details for us on our B9. I have yet to try it on our Solus, but i assume the results will be great as far as details. And it is not ...
