Re: Ben's Prints
Yeah, I think our main issue is that our heat/stir plate does not have a digital temperature gauge. it just has a nob that you turn to increase or decrease the temp. that is really touchy. I think if you had a digital one it should be no problem.

Re: Ben's Prints
Yes, it is black ruthenium plating from Rio Grande. It has to be mixed perfectly at specific temperature (we still haven't mastered the process) sometimes it seems to wear off pretty quickly and sometimes it doesn't.

Re: Help ! Film stick to glass
I have been dealing with the same issue. Try cleaning the glass with a papertowel and iso alcohol and clean the film with a microfiber cloth and a bit of iso alcohol. also, if your film isnt perfectly flat on the glass it will do this as well.

Re: Consistent speed bump when replacing film
I agree that the directions are not complicated, and I'm sure that for you changing the film is a breeze since you've been doing R&D and working with the Solus for a long time. For people starting out it may not be a breeze and if there is a way to eliminate the possibility of over-tightening a ...

Re: Consistent speed bump when replacing film
I tried something similar to that alternative method and it seems to work. It would be nice if attaching the VAT and replacing the film didn't rely on a persons perception/feel. I'm trying to eliminate the steps where you have a "just barely " or "tighten until you feel resistance&quo...

Consistent speed bump when replacing film
I am curious about other's experience with replacing Film in the VAT. For whatever reason I have trouble getting the film to lay flat on the quartz without any airpockets. I've watched the video countless times and I think I am following it to the letter... but consistently have an issue with gettin...

Re: Auto Supports and Manual Supports now in Contour!
Not sure if this is in the pipeline to be added in the future, but If the manual support feature had a button to quad mirror the supports that would be awesome. Set one support, click button, boom supports on all 4 sides

Contour Scale adjustment
Is there information or instructions on how to use this feature? I believe I need to adjust my Z scale just a small amount and I think this may be the ticket. I would like to read up on it before I start changing things around.
Thanks,
