Re: Not Sure whats going on
Sooo I believe the problem may be solved... I retraced my steps and I didn't have the housing locked down all the way in the projector.. Got it down tight and ran a couple calibration cubes and a sample ring and everything seems to be ok.

Re: Not Sure whats going on
Try bumping up the exposure by 1s. See if that helps. Could the bulb is just weak since it's 3rd party. This seems third party too, but they say it's the same brightness. Also the price is higher, so might be a better option. https://www.purelandsupply.com/infocus-projector-lamp_in8606hd.html Obvio...

Re: Not Sure whats going on
Tried to run a calibration cube test twice now with the new bulb and it seems that the first two layers are good but the rest fail. 25xy 25z platform

Re: Not Sure whats going on
Seems like they have two versions on their site. Worth calling them to confirm which one fits the 8606HD. Hmm, I definitely missed that. it looks like this one has a smaller plate..and is about half the price. https://www.dynamiclamps.com/products/infocus-sp-lamp-085-compatible-projector-lamp-modul...

Re: Not Sure whats going on
Yes, it's possible. Just make sure it's an actual Osram bulb and not a fake. I hear fakes usually have a stamp on the back instead of the engraved text. You can also get a lamp from these guys. They are reliable. https://www.dynamiclamps.com/products/infocus-sp-lamp-085-osram-projector-lamp-module-...

Re: Light Meter
Time for a new lamp. Suggest hour replacement is 1500 to 2000. Even thought the lamp says 4000 life. Definitely. Ordered a new one today. Just thought I'd share what the light reader was showing on my lamp which definitely needs to be swapped out. Will do the same test on the new one which might te...

Re: Light Meter
71960 lx is what I'm reading for our InFocus 8606HD using that App. Not sure how accurate that is though since our lamp has about 4,000 hours on it and cant seem to print the SolusWax. How many hours do you have on your projector? Also, what was your calibration factor set to on the App? mine was at...

Ramping straight to 1450 and holding for 3 or 4 hours then drop to casting temperature seems to work well.

Re: Not Sure whats going on
Would it be possible to just replace the bulb instead of the entire housing? Found this on Newegg https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA7DU76A3176&ignorebbr=1&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleMKP-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleMKP-PC-_-pla-_-Projector+Lamps-_-9SIA7DU76A3176&gclid=CjwKCAjwhLHaBRAG...

Ah, lol. We have the InFocus8606 and it looks like the replacement lamp is out of stock on InFocus' website. I see some other places online, but was wondering if there is one site in particular that you recommend?
