Re: Solus Wax Resin
That was quick.
Re: 4K
Lots of companies will take a loss on the hardware and make their money back on supplies if the margin is high. Look at HP and their printers as an example.

Re: Whitegold - Castings with emerald resin
We were able to improve the quality of our casting with a "new" burnout ( 1h30 min on 100 and up to 180 °C vor 1h30m before ramp up to 430( 9°C/min. - hold for 3 hours - ime where resin becomes soft and want to get out) and 3 hours at 800°C) So what was the total time to burn out before c...

Re: Cracks in Emerald prints, need help!
Since it didn't heal itself during printing, it could be lack of support causing stress on the part during exposure and then peel. That causes those pieces to shift back and forth during the printing process.

Re: Solus Wax Resin
The blue on the right is the latest that I was testing. On the left is the first one. Resolution is much better on the blue at 42. Prints great, casts great. another pic of a filigree in white gold. Re: DB Studio
One more thing. Just shake well before use, it is not a stable resin. The chemistry of the cherry is somewhat different. I assume it got way more pigments than any other resin. Though the quality print is unique. I believe that Cherry is the most pigmented castable resin on the market. You have to ...

Re: my recent castings
Nice clean lettering. Did you apply investment to the lettering first before investing the full flask?

Re: Solus Wax Cure No Cure
Cast with Solus Wax. One was cured, one not. I clipped the prong on one to show it was the uncured piece. straight up to 1450 for 4 hours, then down to 850 cast temp Not sure if it is the photo or not, but it looks like you had some porosity as well as investment breakdown at various places on the ...

Re: Whitegold - Castings with emerald resin
My first guess is "as long as it takes" but it does vary based on the flask volume.
