Re: failed print on many items
I think your film was too tight. It now looks like the exposure is too high as you are getting excess/over curing in some of the layers. Try a re-print at 2.3-2.4 sec exposure.

Have you checked your video/graphics card settings as per the user manual? Windows updates often will reset the video card to the default settings.

Re: Failed prints. Pulling my hair out!
Mine is at 150 for B9 Cherry Rik. Thanks Sochin. I forgot to reply. Back when I got one of the first Solus printers Mark had built, I spent months trying to get Cherry Resin to print. I was told to "sloooow" down the Z lift as the resin was "sticking" to the film alot. I will tr...

Re: Shifting layers at top of finger rail
If this happens regularly with prints, I suggest that you check that your quartz is still secure. If you can slide it then that is probably the issue. I have had several customers who had the double-sided tape (which secures the quartz to the acrylic frame) loose adhesion over a few years due to bot...

Hi Alvaro. Check your Z lift speed in Solus Contour. It should be: 75-80 (for B9 Cherry Resin).

In Australia, you can use the Systema KlipIt containers which you can buy at Coles anywhere in the country for around AUD$8. They also have a basket which has a clip on the side allowing you to drain the pieces before curing :-) Like Emil, I use 2 containers - one for used IPA, and one for virgin IPA.

The only thing I had not done was recalibrate my build platform. I noticed it was out on the back left corner and it actually took me about 5 attempts to get it correct. I was going to say check the calibration on your build platform. If you are getting failures in a corner, and you have checked ev...

Re: Kevin's work
We used to run an EnvisionTEC printer that came with it's own curing unit. The printer kicked the bucket a long time ago but we still use the curing unit for all our resins. Its a pretty damn powerful unit and cures significantly faster than a lot of units currently on the market. For our resins, w...
Re: Monogram
Hi Emil. Yeah I hear you. They are definitely set to ECO. There is flashing at 30z @ 2.7 sec, so we test print and adjust downwards in 0.1 sec steps till we get a clean print with no/little excess resin in the vat after printing. We are on 240v here in Australia, and I have always thought that made ...
Re: Monogram
I'm experiencing less flashing on 42xy with the default profile using the SolusCast resin. At 25xy, I get flashing similar to yours when printing flat on the buildplate. The lamps on the last 8-9 x Vivitek 1186 projectors we have setup for customers have been REALLY bright. I mean way to bright for...
