looking to buy another 3d printer, suggestions?
Hey guys, so I bought my solus for use with my job. At work I currently have a solus 3d printer , a 3 axis roland CNC machine, and a zortrax FDM 3d printer in an attempt to handle most, if not all, of the 3D work I might come across at work. I like having these three machines because they seem to co...

Re: solus high heat usage suggestions?

I was once online shopping for mold making supplies and I came across a high heat tolerant spray th...

solus high heat usage suggestions?
I have been sending a lot of my solus prints to a business next door that does pewter spin casting. I believe they are using vulcanized natural rubber molds and evidently the heat is too high for use with solus proto. Its weird because its sort of hit or miss...I find that if I cure the resin a lot ...

Re: silicone rubber does not cure solus proto resin
heat your model for about 30 min at 200 degrees after curing. When you do this proto works with all silicones I have tried ( both tin cure and platinum cure) I had problems at first and I called my silicone supplier and that was their suggestion. Youre basically burning off the fumes that the print ...

can someone help me figure out what this is?
im posting a photo and if you look , youll see an imperfection in the print that sort of looks like a bubble...I initially thought that's what it was, a bubble in the resin but now im starting to think that its a blemish in the film because it seems to appear in the same spot most of the time. Anyone?

can i pour unused resin back in the bottle?
unfortunately I do not have the desk space at work for a designated computer on my solus so im using my desktop. I basically wait until the end of the day when I don't have any other work to do my prints. Because of this setup, I cant really keep resin in the vat due to accidental exposure. I have b...
