Sometimes a lack of a support at an overhang may not affect the print, if that little slice didn't stick to the film and slid away to the side. Most of the time, the little slice will stick and gradually block light, which make the area of the model above it look "broken". At other times the faulty model will print just fine, but the slice will slice around and stick to a different area and affect a perfectly fine model.

In rotating the model and at a different spot on the build area I feel the way the tilt works makes a difference.
