If it is flickering then the projector is having problems power controlling the lamp in eco mode to get a steady output. Going full power is probably not giving you enough output to cure the resin, or needs a really long exposure.

Assuming everything else is okay with your projector, a replacement bulb seems like the only way to go.

When you pull the hdmi cable from the projector does the background black get darker?
