I have tried the unplug -replug method. ( but it is wildly inconsistent) with this time not working at all
I have tried replacing the cable as suggested by support also no help.
I need this to consistently work without it failing every time i try to run a print
Any help and suggestions anyone figure out a permanent solution. Any software solutions for Reify?

Any chance you're using a USB hub? Have you tried a different USB port on your computer?

In your Device Manager for the computer, check the properties for the USB's. They should be set to Always on. Don't let them go idle if unused. If using a laptop, power set to full, never sleep, no screen-savers, no hibernate.

Are you saying it did the Homing cycle but stopped at the bottom?
Might be a bad switch. Or you got resin down between the plunger and tube and it won't allow it to press the switch.

First. With it stuck on bottom. Turn power off. Turn the screw so that it goes up and clears the vat. Take off build platform. Turn printer back on. Restart computer. Open contour. Go to setup under File tab. Click on box Go to controller. Run the home command.
So you are saying that it will home? That it will go down, hit the button and go back up? But when you put the platform on and try to print it goes down and stops?

Hi,
I have done the above recommendations the printer goes down hits the switcher and stays there (is not going up and the homing process never finishes).
The switcher works fine.
