For the calibration cube, print it flat on the build plate. Having it at an angle defeats the purpose of measuring the actual XY to the programs XY. Attached is an image of how I have my Calibration cube set on the build plate. Might want to cut out another hole in your cube to save material and avoid having a large slice at the top.
Also, try setting your Z lift distance a little higher and slowing the Zlift speed down a little. That should help your print success rate with the SolusCast.

Re: My prints are coming in a whole size under what they should be
Ok so update on the whole situation. I was able to print it flat like recommended for the calibration cube we entered the scaling for the cube correctly
but our prints are coming out still a size under
my actual scale for the cube printed
x9.95
y9.84
z10.36
and while the printed cubes seem to be coming out in 10x10x10 the rings we're printing are still coming out a size smaller we've diagnosed the issue to the ring rail being squeezed on the z axis (while strangely enough none of the other parts of the piece are affected) during the printing process but the files we're inputting don't have this issue.
Some insight would be good
Thanks for all the help and your patience with our learning process.
the ring diameter should be printing out at 17.13x17.13 circle for a size 6.75 ring.
but our print is coming out at a 16.01(z)x 17.20(x)

What resin are you using? I just printed a ring using solucast. Sz 5 ring rail in matrix. Sz 5 printed. That is after cured.

Do you have a photo to post of the undersized ring after it is printed? That might give us some additional insight.

I'm using soluscast too so i don't think resin is the issue.

All acrylic resins shrink a little when printing. You need compensate for that shrinkage, either in cad or using contour. It's usually about 3%. But you can print something, measure it, and then scale your prints, or use the scale adjustment in contour.

I have just experienced the same problem. a Full finger size change
Up to now everything has been fine no issues. In the past week I have noticed a significant change in my output. I am using the B9 emerald material and scaling up 3%
Now my models are coming out 3/4 to 1 full size smaller What could of changed? How do I fix it?

Hi Dave. Like I suggested over the phone, try updating to the latest software and re-calibrating the grid. Also, since you're at the end of the bottle with your emerald resin, you may want to dry a new bottle.
