The last two times I have used my new printer each time the build plate has come down into the vat and a layer is exposed the build plate will stick to the film. As the plate rises it tries to lift the entire vat with it until it snaps free with a fairly loud click. The problem is then repeated with the next exposure. I have paused the printing and tried to adjust the tightness of the vat with the thumb screws, but that only helps for a few exposures. I'm guessing this means the tension is wrong and the film is too loose. Has anyone else had this problem and do you know how to fix it?
My prints are coming out very well. They are actually better than than the Solidscape printer I use at my day job.
Thank you for any advice,
Joseph

Re: Sticking film?
Is the sticking and popping happening on the first few layers? If so, then it's ok. Large areas can press down on the film and create a suction cup effect against the glass.
Cleaning the glass and the bottom of the resin tank with zeiss wipes before each print, can lessen the chance of that happening.
Although, I haven't seen the sticking or popping affect the print quality.
