Re: can't get a result
Hi David,
It's worth re-checking that you re-set the video card display settings from brightness=50, contrast=60, gamma=1.8 back to the nVidia defaults?
Those settings are only for the inFocus data projector.

Im cleaning the vat between attempts. cleaning and sanding the platform. removing all resin, Filtering the emerald resin in and out of the vat, measuring out 40ml, Ive checked the settings are all correct. Ive made sure my screen doesnt go blank after 15minutes, no screen saver. 50, 60, 1.8, in the display settings, full rgb on nvidia. what am I missing? apart from half the model! Lol If I don't laugh I cry.
Re: can't get a result
ok so I followed the instruction for slicing that Mark sent me(many thanks) and then tried another build. It's close but still a misprint with a proportion of the claws not printing. Anyone had a similar experience? I feel like I'm getting closer.
Many thanks

Re: can't get a result
Thanks Rik. I checked and the settings had reset to the default so Ive changed them again and am trying another build before bed.
Re: can't get a result
David,
I'm a noob! I was having trouble with detail being sharp and extra flashing (seems like what you have inside your pendant). Emil checked my settings and found among other things that the video card was not on "FULL" so the background wasn't black but it was dark gray, allowing some light through and curing the tank resin in general, not just the profile. Made some adjustments on Optoma DLP too.
Here's my before and after:
AGAIN I don't understand all that and need help troubleshooting, BUT it CAN and WILL happen for you! Hang in there!

Id like to thank you all for your imput and help. what a difference 24 hours makes. 3 successful prints in a row. I can't stress how frustrated I was feeling but then the instant help was fantastic.
Thanks again
David

Make sure in you control panel that the USB ports are set to NEVER turn off or go Idle. Just a guess but worth checking. Don't use a screensaver at all. Also make sure the power settings are always on and not set to idle or sleep.
OOPs I just read the first page and did this post, but it's worth mentioning.
