Not sure what’s happening but the port for the printer keeps going on and off. I’ve gotten this error message since the very first print I ever did:
“Printing Failed. The port ‘COM3’ does not exist.”
This happens when I click print wizard to enter the print setup. My work around has been to disconnect and reconnect the printer cable at the laptop. But it seems this is no longer a viable solution. I have been getting failed prints halfway through because the printer will go offline midway through a print.

Re: Printer not recognized by computer
Hi Mike,
Please make sure you've updated to the latest version of the software.
Also try a different USB plug on your computer, just to rule that out.
If that doesn't help, contact me (info@junction3d.com) and I'll help you find the problem.
