Help ! Film stick to glass
Re: Help ! Film stick to glass
I have been dealing with the same issue. Try cleaning the glass with a papertowel and iso alcohol and clean the film with a microfiber cloth and a bit of iso alcohol. also, if your film isnt perfectly flat on the glass it will do this as well.

When you gently slide the vat on the glass, does the film stick? If it does, then there is some residue on the glass and on the film that needs to be cleaned.
However what you show in the photo is not a big deal. If you put any smooth film on glass and press down it will conform to it and stick. That's not the same as having a sticky surface that's is dirty.

I agree with the comments above. I had the same issue until I did a thorough cleaning of the film and the glass. A lot of pec-pads were used, washing hands and changing gloves on each pass

Are you finding this is causing failures?

Emil posted this link for lens wipes on a few other threads. I recently got some of these and they are awesome. It no longer takes me mounds of pec pads and buckets of tears when trying to get the quartz and film completely residue free. just rip, wipe, done. https://www.amazon.com/Zeiss-Pre-Moiste ... 0191YLW34/

Yes. Those are great. Super cheap at walmart. I use them before every print!
