large dlp printer

Hi everyone

On a show in San Francisco, I sew a 3d dlp printer capable of doing very large surface. Something 50x30cm. It use a UV led and is printing from the top.
Costs 250k $... so except if you want to build large pieces it is better to have 50 solus.
The company is prodways.

The projector moves, therefore increasing the build area while still using high resolution.

With the way that light engine moves, they have to really get their accuracy down or else you'd have pixel shifts across each band. Very impressive if they can do it.

A interview video from Rapid 2015 on Youtube mentioned they are only targeting the manufacturing space, so nothing at 'entry level' or any plans to bring the technology to the unwashed masses.

Nothing even remotely affordable yet. I think the cheapest I've seen is about $45K, and it's the size of a small car.

I'm thinking in about 2 years they will become affordable and a lot smaller.
