Which Alcohol to use for cleaning resin

Hello Everyone,

I heard printed part it need to clean with Isopropyl Alcohol & ultrasonic....

In our country it is BAN Isopropyl Alcohol what other way to clean printed part?

I didn't rece my printer it's on its way, before i should keep ready.

a lot of people on the B9 forum recommend using water with a drop of dish detergent. (to clean prints with b9 resin) i've started to change my cleaning procedure, though it still involves a quick alcohol rinse, rinse with water, then ultrasonic with water and detergent. the rings do not get as clean as they did with a good washing in alcohol, but i've found the surface quality is better, because not all uncured resin is removed, and i don't see print lines as much now.

not sure how this may or may not affect casting, i don't expect a change.

If you can get your hands on some moonshine or "stilled" alcohol (ethanol) that works just as good . We use Everclear which is a grain alcohol and have a small still which we use to recycle it. Flawless.

These photopolymers are alcohol soluble. Unfortunately it's the best agent for cleaning.

Yes, I also found alcohol to be the best way of cleaning the prints. Don't need to soak it for a long time, just agitate the part in the alcohol for a minute or two usually does it for me.

I have a bottle of Everclear I bought back in the 90's during a trip through Indiana. I'm almost afraid to open it now.

Good to hear I can use that for cleaning uncured resin instead of making industrial jello shots.
