print failure because of Windows update

I just had two print failures in a row and couldn't understand what was going wrong. I hadn't had a failure in quite a long time. Then I remembered that the controller laptop just went through a Windows 10 update. I checked the settings on my projector control panel and the update reset my settings to the default settings. Make sure your setting are to full range.

I have update turned off. But Win 10 has a backdoor I believe. I hate Win10

it's got more than one "back-door".. one for Microsoft's updates and another for Big Brother.
