We fixed this over the phone. Had to reflash the firmware.

Mine is also stuck at the home and won't move. How do you reflash the firmware?

Hi,

Did you remove the vat and build platform when homing?

That's not necessarily the same case. Please make sure to remove the resin tank and build plate before homing.

To fix this, please turn off the power from the back, and turn the long Z screw by hand until the arm is up about half way. Exit the Contour software, unplug the USB cable from the back of the printer and press the little reset button next to it. Then plug the cable back, turn on the power, open Contour and run the home cycle again. Whenever running the home cycle please make sure the build plate and the resin tank are completely removed.

I had the same issue. I will go down but won't return to home. I tried your reset but it remains down.

You tried moving it up by hand by turning the z screw and it remains down?

it moves with my hand. It does everything but once it goes down it stays down and the motor does not revers to move back up.

If that's the case, then it could either be your tilt motor that has gone bad (if it's the old motor) or the tilt sensor.

Please contact me via email if you would like to send your machine in for diagnostics and repair.
