Weird clicking sound

Postby KadKat » Thu Mar 29, 2018 7:09 am

During the last few prints the printer has been making a weird clicking noise as the build table rises. When looking at the resin, you can see it "jump" with vibration when the printer does this. It's only there for a few minutes during a certain time (round about the 460th slice to about the 470th slice). It always seems to only happen during those specific slices, then it goes away and continues as normal. Has anyone else experienced this? Any idea what it could be? Super happy with the printer otherwise.

You probably have large area slices there and the vacuum forces are too much. Unless it's negatively impacting your print, it's nothing to worry about. You can angle your prints in a way to minimize those large area.

It's not impacting the print at all, I was just worried that there might be something wrong with the machine itself, but this clears it up. Thanks so much!
