Optoma HD37 brightness gradient?

Postby pmauddib » Wed Oct 19, 2016 9:11 pm

I started getting a few failures on longer jobs that looked allot like some of the posts on the forms where the RGB was not set to full. While checking my focus I noticed this gradient. Has anyone noticed something like this before? This picture was taken with a pec pad on the glass while in setup with the project black option turned on.

That's normal. It's from the color wheel and doesn't affect curing. Failures on longer jobs most likely have to do with the resin not being mixed well and the pigment settling after a while.

Thanks for replying. What your saying makes sense, when you add to the fact list I am nearing the end of my first bottle of resin. I was careful to mix it well before I started using it and every-time I poured it. But I guess it was not good enough. Next bottle I get I'll put some hex nuts in it or something to scrap the bottom when I shake it.

Yup. That's what I do. Some bolts and nuts in there. Just make sure they're clean ;)
