Support bug

Postby barth » Wed Jan 04, 2017 4:02 pm

Hi guys,
I ask few weeks back if the support stay if you save as .solus, and the answer was yes and i'm agree with that but the setting of them don't follow.
For example on my main computer I set the touch point at 0.6 for a job and save it, but when I open the job on the Solus computer the touch point generate at the defaut size 0.3.

Is it normal?

Same problem for me.

You can work around by:
# loading the scene (supports will be default and likely wrong for you).

# Change the support settings to what you want.

# Delete everything

# Reload the scene - which will use the right settings.

Only some of the settings seem to go back to default. Lift height, base size certainly do.

I use 2 PCs. One for set up, one for print and this happens every time, so I'm used to working around it. There are a few other things that make support settings change back to default. I haven't recorded these - but the fix is the same.
