Scale Adjustment

Postby jward » Sun Jan 29, 2017 7:02 am

I have Z height at 10 try to change it to origional 5 and 5.2 actual it accept the change then reverts back to 10.
This is in both 1.3.3 and 1.3.14 this is both connected to controller and not

Is there a work around

Hi John

Not sure what you are trying to do with this. If you are trying to get your machine into calibration by using the scale adjustment tool the best way is to make and print a 10X10X10 cube making sure to identify the X, Y and Z positions. After you print it measure it and put the measurements into the actual scale boxes. This will compensate for the discrepancies in your pieces. Don't forget to click apply then print and measure again to see if it works.

Note the figures in this picture are what my machine needed not what you need to input.

Your saying it the box that has the Original 10x10x10 yours say's 10x10x5???

If so, I would re install Contour. It should not be that way.

Results after re install 1.3.14 SC

Print 1: 10x10x5mm X 11.35 Y 8.63 Z 5.1 Now with an angle y- to Y + not parallel to Table
Made adjustments in Scale

Print 2 10x10x5mm X 11.45 Y 9.18 Z 5.2 Still with angled model

Print 3 10x10x5mm X 11.45 Y 10.26 Z 5.2 Still with angled model

Scale made some diff in Y not correct but X does not budge

If your top row in the Scale window show 10 10 5, then something is way wrong. Contact Emil
