Is this the only way to click/drag? I thought in the previous version the click/drag was default if you weren't adjusting anything else and didn't require choosing 'move' first. Not a big inconvenience but quite often I'll rotate a part, close rotate menu, then go to click/drag to move it somewhere else and it'll start rotating instead.

It's the only way. That's how it was before too.

You click on MOVE if you want to move. You click on ROTATE if you want to rotate. And you click on SCALE to scale.
