You have to connect it to a source like your laptop to be able to adjust brightness, contrast, etc.

Okay my bad, I didn't have the computer turned on. Everything checks out okay then on the settings.

i set the projector back up with the Solus. All projector settings are correct, RGB Full and still showing dim light on project black and when print starts.

The dim light is normal. It will never just project pure black. We just don't want bright light when it's not projecting anything.

Please clean the glass and the lenses with a lens cleaner pad, or some alcohol and microfiber cloth. Just to make sure you don't have any residue on there that can scatter light.
