files do not load in Contour

Not sure what is going on, need help!

Check the size/dimensions of your model.

size are fine. I even tried import file which I printed before. After importing there is no preview.

Does any of you had anything like this ? I have tried to reinstall countour, plus tried to install older version too, but still having the same problel.

I have occasionally had files that refused to load into Contour - allegedly because they were too big, even though they were not (when checked in other software).

I have also loaded files that WERE too big. These loaded just fine, but displayed red, where they were outside the build area.

I have not really noted when this problem happened, nor exactly how I fixed it. Basically I think I went away and regenerated the stl - making sure the orientation was correct (which I often don't worry about - using contour to align the model). In any case, while frustrating, a bit of playing around seemed to sort pretty quickly - ie before I got frustrated enough to raise a bug report.

post your file to a Dropbox type account for someone to try. Did you run your model through NetFab or a stl fixer? Is there doubles in your model?

There is something more then that.

Mark hooked up to my laptop yesterday, there is something else going on. We even tried to import generic solus ring, but still came up with the same error message.

Solus contour software developers working on it, in a meantime I will have to stick with old software.

What's your operating system? Win 7 8 or 10. Maybe try to roll back to an earlier date. Check to see if an update loaded. I would think it a Microsoft net file or dll file not playing nice.

I run windows 7,and now I just read that it has to be 8 or win10?

Install windows 10 and now it works as normal, I guess I had issues with my system.
