Hello,
I have a question about possibility to use Contour software with other 3D DLP printers, not Solus. I have a mUVe 3D printer and I would like to use the Contur support generator which seems very good. I am using Nanodlp to control my printer - it accept .stl
and .slc file formats.

Re: Question about Contur software
I would think not, it was made for the Solus.
Re: Question about Contour software
can only be used for solus
Re: Question about Contour software
Maybe some day Mark might allow support for other gcode based printers as an additional revenue stream? <wink wink>
Re: Question about Contour software
Actualy I don't need to control the printer, I would like to use only this part of Contour wich help me to add supports to the model like B9 software do this.

Re: Question about Contour software
The b9 software is open-source (at least it started out that way ), the Solus Contour software is not open source. We spent lot of time and money developing this software from scratch (instead of relying on kickstarter money).
Perhaps down the road we might decide to open it up and support other printers, for a price. You never know.

Re: Question about Contour software
Have use other printers with support generators and they don't compare to Contour.
It is so easy and ideal to use.
I am sure they spent lots of money, time, and effort.
Keep things as they are and enjoy the rewards of your hard work.
