Thanks Mark. I just believe in keeping everything very clean and as dust free as possible. I also don't change things that work unless someone has a great tip to improve the quality of the prints. Tough to get any better prints than these!! Mark2

Mark, those prints look incredible! How do you like the new supports?

They work great Emil. I used them as auto supports. Maybe a few to many for my taste on some thongs but all prints come out great using them. I have been using the Ball end supports which I like. You know I am a support minimalist !!! The fewer the better!! But I do like the new support function. I would like to be able to mix a piece I supported in rhino and auto support others on the same build plate. I am sure there is something in the pipeline for that feature. Out of all the support software I have tried this is the best!! Mark

You can already do that. Quoting Emil from the 3DCJ forum:

"If you watch the video you can see that there is an easy way to do this.

Here is a step by step.

1. Load your models (both the ones you want to support and the ones you may have supports on as part of the STL and don't need to be supported)

2. Arrange them on the platform.

3. Click on the Supports icon, but don't click on auto supports or manual supports tab.

4. Right click on the models that you don't want to be supported using auto supports.

5. Uncheck the box that says "Generate Supports"

Now those models won't participate in the supporting. "

Yes, Mark. Already in there. When you first click on the Support icon, you can then right click on the models you don't want to participate in supporting and uncheck the box.

Also, there is manual support mode only, if you want to be in more control where the supports are put. Just point and click and the software does the rest.
