Actually that is why the customer came in. His wife found the shell and wanted a pendent and earnings made out of it. . I printed all the parts and cast the pieces. Then I printed the template to cut the shell the right size.. The pearl post holds everything together. The renders looked just like the finished oieces.

I love that. More people should do that. Print in multiple pieces.

If you want to cast two-tone, it is almost mandatory. :p
If people aren't doing it, maybe it is folks without as much bench experience and soldering something like that together scares them?
