Would like to have some kind of chat for parameters can give idea which different lower or higher is best....

more numbers rise more time in printing...

i did some try but not sure viewtopic.php?f=2&t=432&start=20

mongerdesigns wrote:I would like to add that changing the buffer to a high number like that is not always necessary. In fact 99% of the time it's not needed, and simply just takes longer to print.

The reason it works well in the case of this band, is because it's sitting flat and that slows down the flow of resin. A longer buffer time simply waits longer for the resin to stop moving before exposing the next layer, giving you sharper details.

I think 2 seconds might have had the same effect.

Awesome! Did you build it flat or upright?

My first guess is upright, long ways up based on what appear to be grow lines. 8-) But, I have been wrong before...

I'm betting this is printed flat on the build table. No reason to print it upright, unless you're trying to do a few of them at the same time. Even then, probably better/faster to printer them flat and one at a time.

Emil was right it was built flat. I actually built 4 at the same time on the 42xy machine. The one above has been handled and hot cured. 19min build time.

That's a great idea to print the top separately. Probably makes the casting a lot easier too!

For manufacturing it makes casting and assembly much easier. 90% of all classring style rings are hollow on the inside.
