Thank you, studiojoia. I will try that when I get my yellow resin.

studiojoia wrote:My exposure times are very similar to the Emerald's.
Bottom exposure 13 sec
Layer exposure 2.9 sec
But I have to say that if you want to try this hybrid probably you will need to make adjustments to you exposure, every projector seems to be a bit different.
I adjusted all the exposures on every resin I use, for example my settings for Protosolus are just 4 sec Bottom exposure and 1 sec for the layers.

Here are two very good examples of what protosolus can do. Super high resolution for direct mold, amazing.
The skull rings are designed by Nacho Riesco, on the right you can see the ring injected in wax after the mold was done.
In the other example the original and the casted model after the mold and injection.

Fantastic as always.

Can you ask Nacho what kind of silicone he uses to make the molds?

They use 2 componets cold silicone, Alearte has his own formula, but any silicone should work just fine (castaldo for example), just put some talc on the model before to prevent it from sticking to the silicone, thats it.
I know many people using this method always with sucess.
