Been printing for a month or so.

The prints are smooth, though experiencing other issues with details, etc.

ANYWAY, just looked at a casting from a milled wax and compared to a printed model ready for casting....same design.

It IS the blend.

Been changing exposures bc I'm STILL not getting the lettering detail if was hoping for. This was set @ 2000 . Ckd the focus and all, seemed spot on and sharp.

My last print of the clasp at 2000 came out like this (see clasp 14k)

I haven't printed with the WaxCast yet so I'm not sure how well it can hold fine details. Have you tried this with pure emerald?

Might need to increase the ratio of emerald.

About to print again....I'll try 60/40 blend.

Bob,

Check your focus too. Project the built-in grid in CW, it's sharper and use that to focus.

Did that this morning....seems sharp.

Here's the latest print with "hybrid" Better...now going to try all green.

Not sure of the potential beneficial properties of the blend at less than 25%...

I don't have a great understanding of how all the parameters work together and independently,

Here's the last grow. All B9 EMERALD GREEN.

Settings @ .025 2000 20000

I'm guessing the flashing on the build plate and midway in the grow are because of exposure time? Too long on bottom??

Definition still sux... 14k almost a fill in totally here.

I'm really flying blind....

Am I expecting too much? I see some of you guys with CRAZY GOOD sharpness in corners and letters. SECRET????

From what experience i have had with our B9 and the Solus i can say one major thing that must be 100% spot on is the focus. The grows will only be as sharp as the focus.

My question is why are you doing a .025 slice instead of the .030. That small of a difference probably wont do to much in aiding cleanup. Try the standard resin profile.
And how large is the clasp, and the "14k" part of the clasp? Is the lettering to small to allow a good clean grow?
