Autumn Tree

Postby M.A.N » Tue Oct 18, 2016 6:42 pm

A 48 rings tree in 42 microns.
It was printed in 8 plates.
Each plate contains 6-7 rings and takes 3.30 hours for printing. With a half hour rest for solus :D
All in 32 hours. Most of rings were designed with 0.25 mm parts.
I had also about 5 fail rings.
I'm using solus for continues order set of rings so i thought some people needs to know if they can use it for these kind of works.
My opinion is: Its Great ;)

Did you use this investment? http://www.stuller.com/products/22-4748/?groupId=192169

I heard good things about it.

I am having a TERRIBLE time trying to cast a 14k WG bracelet. Either chunks of investment remain on the inside
or it seems like the Plasti-Cast breaks down at a point and dosent remain to its form of the bracelet. Its a thick bracelet
All in its 2.5dwt in resin so its a big casting... Think this investment will help? Here's a pic from todays 3rd casting that didnt work.
EVERYTHING else I do is perfect.

This link has a 360 pic! https://spinzam.com/shot/?idx=3520

Does it require any special steps or does it behave like Kerr SatinCast?

What burnout program did you use to get those results?

Normally I wouldn't buy that kind of stuff from Stuller, but when my box of PlastiCast runs out, I'd consider giving it a try. ;)
