Curing goes much better thats why the castings are almost free of porosity.

Curring is the number one thing that is neended for good castings. Most don't do a full cure which can cause problems.

First tumbling? magnetic, wet or dry tumbling? or combo?

Your right curing is the only solution for good casting, we cast the same way we cast wax.

Cleaning up your castings we do old school,no tumbling.You cannot get a good result if you don't sandpaper into all edges and holes on your piece.
Just forget you made your piece in cad.imagine you made it old school by hand,there are no short cuts if it comes to finishing.I made some pictures
with the stones set.
