My dog, Dakota is also an employee. He goes to work with me everyday. He's the Security personal. And yes, he has issued warnings to a few guys to leave. Were casing my store.

Toddmichael, native Michigander, hold up your Michigan map, I am from your middle finger finger nail, and now live near the bottom crease of the thumb. Poor Michigan humor I know, but its true. Been in the jewelry business as a bench goldsmith designer since day one. Just closed my store of 23 years, been working for someone else and chomping at the bit most days to be my own boss again. Want to reopen some cleaner version of before. Jack of all trades, but got into 3d, milling and printing in the least 6 years and really enjoy it. Moderate a milling forum, and taking to 3d printing as fast as I can soak it up. Own 3 printers, but solus is the best resin printer I own. Even have access to a super expensive machine from Envisiontec, and Solus is right there running neck n neck with resolution quality.

So many familiar "faces" here!

Been a jeweler for over 25 years. One man show for the last 6 years.

Ordered the Solus last week. Looking forward to working with it soon.
I have a mill, and the B9 Creator was my first frustrating experience into 3d printing/growing.
I have and love my Solidscape 3Z Studio printer. After 2 years of overall success with it, I had my first week of it being down.
Which prompted me to get something as a backup, and for samples the customer can finger.
My Solidscape issue was just a bad ribbon cable, but it took them far too long to diagnose, effectively shutting me down.

Hopefully the Solus will be a better resin experience than the B9 V1.1. I never got it performing adequately, and hated dealing with the PDMS.
That lead me to getting the Solidscape.

I've waited for a non-PDMS solution, and the Solus prints I have seen look fantastic. I also appreciate the small footprint, and sleek design of the Solus.
I can't wait to get going and look forward to the new resins being developed!

Hello Everyone! My name is Robert O'Dell and I'm glad to join this forum. I've been a jewelry designer/model-maker for 30 years hand carving and cad/cam (Revo/Matrix) but I'm new to 3D printing. I've had the Solus for several months now, learning the ins and outs of printing and I'm amazed at the ease of use and results I'm getting. No mo PDMS. Fantastic machine, thanks Mark for making a great product and thanks Emil for getting me started and helping me through the learning curve.

Nice to meet you all,
Robert
