Hi ther my name is Roman im located near Ocala FL.
Im very new to the jewelry business but my grandfather has been in the business all his life and is going to start teaching me quite a bit once our Solus arrives. He is wanting to pass on his knowledge to someone in the family and im going to be the one to take on the challenge. This should be loads of fun.

Hi

My name is David Haywood

Have been running my own business as a retail jeweller here in the UK for almost 40 years
Creating jewellery from day one. Now with the great help of my son James.

We use a Rofin laser, Matrix software, revo mill, envisiontec micro and now we have a Solus
Everyday is fun when you use great technology.

Very pleased to be part of this forum, I hope somewhere down the line I can be of help.

Hey everyone. I am Mark Miller from North Carolina.

I have been in the Custom Jewelry and Jewelry Repair business for 30 years. Coming from doing Strictly CAD/CNC for the past 20 years the 3D Printing is going to be a new animal for me. I cant wait to get the Solus in the shop and start printing models. I have been waiting for a year to pick the right printer and working on the casting of resins. I have the casting down now by using different samples of resin and investments. It looks like the Solus will work nicely for the work I am doing. Mark Miller

Hi,
My name is Andre Bosmans.
I have 35 years experience in jewelry manufacturing, since a few years I design with Matrix, T-Splines and Zbrush for clients in Europe, mostly complicated pieces ( For example, I design bracelets for David Morris )
I do have a Envisiontec Micro and now a Solus.
I'm passionated with everything in 3D, I did follow cursus with UArtsy and did learn a lot, it gives me opportunities to develop new skills

Hi, I'm Sherry. Just purchased and have not set up my new printer and I'm soooo excited. I've been in the jewelry business since '82, custom hand carving until 2010. Been using CAD for the last 6 years and I'm looking forward to having a chance to redo files if I think the prongs are too small or the head too low. I spent 1/3 of the cost of this set up on sending out my files to print last year and I think it will cut down on my modeling time when I am not so worried about getting it perfect the first time. Something new and exciting is a great way to start the year. Thanks, Sherry
