is anyone else having an issue with pits left over where supports were after they are removed?
is there something that can be done about it?

Yes. Don't pull off the supports if you worry about the pits. Cut them instead. Or use the ball tip supports. Then when you pull them off you will have bumps left that you can file down instead.

im using creation workshop for now.....I don't have the option for ball tips right?

Correct. You make your own for CW. Contour is not that expensive, it make supports, calibration, printing so much easier.

Dude , get couture , you have no idea how much time you will save save save , for that price it is a heaven sent , I no longer spend any time supporting any files , those old days of sometimes hours trying to calculate the right spot or even the essay files to support are behind me , literally 10 seconds from start to finish ,
