Sadly seems Yellow was a waste of $200 for me ...

Failures keep happening on both the B9 and the Solus ...

When cured its too soft and if i print a larger and thinner part as i do often for some micro pave pendants and such ... the drift destroys it on the B9 ... since yellow seems to be flexible and not solid like cherry

the Solus actually cures it harder and stronger but ... until someone finds a solution ... whenever i have thin supports 0.3 at join ... its an automatic failure .. because the thin layers will not detach from the film and gimme 50 to a couple hundred thin points stuck to the film ...

Hoping the New Solus resin is out soon ... and delivers on its promise of increased cast ability and speed

KBS,

Why don't you try a 50:50 mix of the cherry and yellow. Get the best of both worlds ;)

I interested in yellow but not anyone give a good result with combination of yellow and Solus until now!
Did you test this mixture? I ordered my Solus and now searching for resin, I know the solus work correctly with cherry but I read in b9 forum about casting problem (no ash free), usually I send my work to casting company and can't mention them using special casting method for me! did you prefer 50:50 mix of the cherry and yellow?

Did anyone testing B9 Emerald (green) on Solus?

PS: Before I ordering my Solus I print my designs with envision and EC-500 resin (outsourcing) and not problem with outside casting company.
I hope I can get better result with Solus and right resin ;)

Got my B9R-4-Yellow Resin last week. after endless trials.I simply gave up.waist of money .it is too mushy ,hard to describe it. it is like more resin and less pigments. one thing for sure it is a hell of a different beast. Im gonna stick with the cherry for know. myth busted

This exactly ... was useless for me on several things for my B9 as well ...

Tried to print a large thicker pendant and the resin was so soft it eventually flexed so much that the new layers no longer were ontop of the previous ones ...

On the Solus ... a simple ring worked ... but anything intricate where I would use small supports failed horribly ... and anything with a small cross section per layer just stuck to the film

I'm considering buying Green since its advertised as better Cherry ... really would like someone to have had some success with it before i flush some more $$ down the drain

I wouldn't advice you to get there green. Just Wait and see . I suppose it is the best approach for the moment.

I got some yellow from a generous Solus user so I can test it out. Will post my results once I get some free time to try it.
