Thank Len. I just about used up my old SW. Expect the new one to arrive tomorrow. With the First SW i found that I had issues with most of my white gold cast. I usually could laser fix it. Yellow and silver came out much better with few bad spots in the cast. I cast two white gold rings today. Separate flask. One was a cross over with 92 .007 ct diamonds. Had lots of feeders (12 ), it came out great. Thin shank flat cluster top not so good. Shank at 9 and 3 had issues. Guess I should have run some wax feeds to that section. I've read several other post on 3dcad forum about same issue. My suggesting to all who have this problem is to over feed your ring. Especially heavy rings. Will take pictures tomorrow.

there is a lot of ash ... so you do not always get a good result

very simple test ... take a clean ring and burn it with a burner on the table ... then take the epic or ec3000 and see what remains.

I havent burned it on the table, only in a flask. Great castings, why worry about on the table if it casts?
I do use heavy sprues 8 gauge and feeders if necessary. I have been casting solitaire halo rings with one sprue. Gotta build it to flow.

Kostyo, burnout on the table is not the same as in the flask. You don’t even have a Solus yet you come here to badmouth Solus products and push competitors products? This is your last warning.

This is not helpful. Well, this is a valuable platform for people to share and learn from each other.

This is a Solus forum. For owners of Solus printers. Please refrain from posting about competitor products, especially when you don't have a Solus machine.

Posting about our own resin without casting them is also not constructive. Nor is posting about resins that are closed for purchase, such as the ET resins. Those posts will be removed.

Other than that, constructive criticism is welcomed from legitimate Solus owners only.

bought your resin because I believe your company ... so I'm your customer!

if you have a softver on UHD, tomorrow i will buy a new printer ...

it's your fault that you can not produce a high quality resin not mine ... I do not generally suggest ET resin but nothing better to compare.

the price of your resin is exactly the same as the epic m ..... I think it is logical when the same price should be the same quality.

p.s. and of course I know that burning in the table is not the same as in the oven .... it is better because my burner up to 1400celzius and in furnace max 750 for plasticast.

I strongly disagree that it isn't a high quality resin. We've been getting a lot of great feedback about it.

More than 90% of our customers are super happy about SolusWax and they keep telling me that its the closest thing to wax they ever casted.

When the resin is in the tank already, it just needs to be mixed well with the soft spatula. No warming is necessary for this.
I store my resin in 1L and/or 500mL round bottles, then I use a Hot Dog Roller which keeps the bottle always rotating and mixing. I use one of these.

This makes sure that nothing settles. It also has a heating feature, which I have off for normal resin, but sounds like is good for wax resins keeping it warm and mixed.

This is specially designed for that. It can be good but way more expensive than yours hot dog roller.
