Re: ceramic
Here is a piece, the thickness of the ring is about 1mm, diameter about 11mm. The top surface is very smooth compared to ceramic fabricated by standard sintering.
The toughness seems also very high but the material is brittle, like a standard ceramic.
But I'm having 90% of my printing sticking to the film instead of the build platform. I had recalibrate the 0 of the platform.
I'm currently testing to use a new VAT with a clean film.

Re: ceramic
Was it fired in a kiln? Or is this the way it comes out?

Hi Sebastian_Lani
I just recently received my Solus and have a bottle of the ceramic resin. I'm new to the CW software/settings and was wondering if you could share your settings for this resin, it would be greatly appreciated! Very excited to try this out!
Thank you,
Craig

Re: ceramic
Finally, I found some time to work again with the ceramic resin and got much better results. I tried a sphere of about 2cm diameter.
Parameters are:
Layer thickness 50um
Exposure dose 2sec
Starting layer dose 10sec (6 layers)

Hi Sebastien,
Print looks very clean, did you cure it or is it the picture directly from the printer?
I'd like to play with it for jewelry work, do you have shrinkage compare to other resin?
André.

Re: ceramic
Hi André
it is a picture directly after printer.
I did a curing test on a bad print and it looks much more white at the end. There was some deformation of the piece but there was many missing support structures.
From the resin manufacturer, the shrinking shall be around 14% but I haven't measure the piece before firing.
I will put more pictures on the future.
