i really want to buy this resin but im having a hard time convincing myself its worth it in this color for me at least....i would have bought it a long time ago but i just have almost no use for this color...i know white resins are a bit more challenging to develop but in my opinion, if you were going to release only a single color, it should have been white....at least with white you can easily paint it if you desire a different color....if i were to want to paint a prototype i create with this resin, i would first have to use a primer and probably more than one coat of primer, and then at least another single coat of desired color...with a very small model with lots of detail or texture, the primer will likely destroy any small detail.
Anyway, just wondering if there is any talks or plans in the works for a solus proto in white..i love the idea of a super high resolution resin that in theory should be very easy to use since you guys did the work of dialing in the settings but i dont think i will be buying the red.
any chance of solus proto resin being available in other colors?

considering the nature of this printer, and how its basically suited for very high detail but limited print size, in my opinion it just more reason for the proto resin to be white in color, almost all prints will be tiny and very high detail, this just limits the ability to paint models without sacrificing detail....im not sure, but i bet if this was available in white, we wouldnt even need to paint them, i bet the models could be dyed after printing, making the color change even easier without sacrificing any detail.

Getting a high resolution white color resin is not an easy thing to pull off.
The color has A LOT to do with the details and resolution of the resin.
You can get really nice Japanese primers that will not take away any of your details.

Printed with the orange Solus Proto resin.
Just a quick and rough 3 coat cover with the primer I told you about. I didn't even remove the supports. As you can see even after 3 heavy coats all the details are there. Penny for scale.

That turned out quite well Emil! I'll have to save that link for future use.

yea that is better than i would have imagined, i need to try that primer because the primers i can get locally are terrible and i would have lost all the definition.
